Privacy, Cookies & Social Media Policy

This Privacy Policy provides detailed information on when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others, and how we keep it secure.

Who we are

At the #BrayAirDisplay, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our website visitors. #BrayAirDisplay fully respects your right to privacy in relation to your interactions with us. Any information you send to us will be treated with the highest standards of security and confidentiality, strictly in accordance with data protection law (including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Acts 1988–2018).

We may share or disclose personal data when conducting advertising campaigns, market research or analysis with trusted third parties. We do not sell, rent or trade email lists with other companies and businesses.

Ticket Purchases & Event Car Parking

When you purchase an official event car park ticket through our online shop, we collect specific personal information required to process your transaction and manage event logistics safely.

  • Information We Collect: Your full name, billing address, email address, and your exact vehicle registration number (licence plate), which is a mandatory field at checkout.
  • Payment Security: All financial transactions are handled securely by our third-party payment gateways (Stripe). We do not see or store your raw credit card details.
  • Why We Process This Data (Legal Basis): We process your contact details under Contractual Necessity to fulfil your order and email your unique entry QR code. We process your vehicle registration number under Legitimate Interests to synchronise our automated gate scanning system, verify vehicle entry, manage local traffic flow efficiently, and prevent unauthorised parking.
  • Data Retention: Vehicle registration numbers collected for the event are strictly used for gate entry verification and enforcement. This dataset will be securely deleted from our active entry systems shortly after the event ends, except in cases involving ongoing parking fee disputes. General transaction data and invoices will be securely stored for 6 years in accordance with Irish legal requirements.
